What you will be doing
At Kadence, you will play a key role in leading and supporting market research projects from inception to completion. This includes understanding client objectives, designing appropriate methodologies, and writing compelling proposals. You will manage the full project life cycle—chairing kick-off meetings, briefing teams, overseeing fieldwork, and ensuring all aspects run to time and budget. You’ll work closely with our Data Analysis and Design teams to extract insights and deliver impactful presentations that bring data to life through visuals, storytelling, and multimedia.
Client management is central to this role. You’ll liaison directly with clients throughout the project, present findings, and develop strong relationships that drive repeat business. You’ll also identify new opportunities within existing accounts and support business development through pitches and proposal writing.
Leadership and mentoring are key elements—guiding Insight Managers, Executives, and Graduates to ensure project quality and staff development. You’ll participate in recruitment, performance evaluations, and internal knowledge sharing.
A strong commercial mindset is essential, including understanding pricing, budgets, KPIs, and operational efficiency. You’ll also contribute to broader business initiatives, such as marketing or internal learning.

What we are looking for
- More than 7 years of experience with ad-hoc primary quantitative/qualitative research, preferably from an agency-side role.
- Experience working with a wide variety of quantitative/qualitative research methods (traditional and digital).
- Contribute to proposals, pitches, and commercial delivery with a focus on quality and client needs. Understand and manage budgets, KPIs, and commercial targets. Support business growth by identifying opportunities and optimizing operations.
- Lead or assist in development areas such as marketing, L&D, or knowledge management to strengthen team capabilities.
- Ability to advise on correct methodology depending on project objectives, write discussion guides and create insightful and actionable reports.
- Able to coordinate a number of different projects at once, ensuring they meet time and budget requirements.
- Strong management/supervisory skills including project delegation, time management, day-to-day feedback on performance, conduct performance reviews; experience in line management specifically would be beneficial.
- Individuals with a degree involving market research, marketing, psychology, sociology, or a related field.
