SECTION A: Responsibilities and Tasks
Project Execution: Research Design

  • Working with the client to fully understand their strategic issues and research objectives
  • Be available to Insight Manager to support or lead proposal preparation, complete with appropriate methodologies and analysis to meet client research objectives, plus clear USPs for why Kadence should be awarded the job
  • Creating “Line of Questioning” documents. Creating or managing Insight Execs to produce fully annotated questionnaires/discussion guides that collect required data


Project Execution: Project Management

  • Chairing Project Kick-off meetings
  • Preparing & Chairing Project Briefings if the lead
  • Support the Support Researchers through the project management Process ensuring they are adhering to processes
  • Supporting the Support Researchers by acting as a troubleshooter throughout the project lifecycle
  • Preparing & Chairing Post-Project Reviews

    Project Execution: Analysis
  • Selecting and administering appropriate analysis ideas to deliver the knowledge and insight worth sharing that exists in the dataset
  • Supporting junior team members in the creation of presentation outputs
  • Managing Insight Execs through the analysis stage, ensuring they are productive, engaged and learning. Conducting the “So What Test” and ensuring the report truly delivers on the brief.
  • Producing best-in-class research reports
  • Leading client presentations

    Project Execution: Client Management
  • Leading or contributing to client credentials meetings
  • Leading or contributing to client project briefings
  • Liaising with clients where necessary throughout the proposal process
  • Liaising with clients where necessary throughout the lifetime of the project to keep them updated
  • Leading or contributing to the delivery of client presentations and outputs
  • Communicating with clients (internal and/or external), in a client-friendly manner, to ensure smooth project progression and repeat business
  • Contributing to client satisfaction, by being ‘client friendly’ and ‘output focused’ – being proactive, providing a quick response time, ‘being there for the client, being enthusiastic, being interested in the client’s market, understanding the client’s market and producing best-in-class reports and presentations.

  • Mentoring & Employee Development
  • Working closely with the team to ensure best practices in processes, research, analysis presentation and culture are cascaded across the team

  • On-the-job mentoring of Insight Executives or Graduates to ensure that projects are run efficiently, accurately and cost-effectively through the Insight Department
  • Supervising on an ongoing basis the development of Insight Executives & Managers and identifying any development needs
  • Conduct knowledge shares on a regular basis in line with team practices
  • Positively participate in learning & development activities that are perceived to contribute to personal development

    SECTION B: Preferred Profile
  • Post Graduate (preferably MBA or PG in Economics) from a leading institute
  • Graduate in any discipline
  • Having an excellent academic performance in school and college
  • Having experience of 14+ years in the field of Quantitative research, especially in FMCG, E-comm,


Consumer durables, etc. sectors

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Team focused
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A common sense and pragmatic approach to organizing projects and delivering client needs.
