Simon Everard - Global Chairman

Simon is the founder of Kadence International and is responsible for the ongoing expansion and integration of all our offices.

Born in Kenya, educated at Marlborough College and with a degree in Management Science, Simon started his research career in the US, then Australia, before opening up Kadence UK in 1992. Simon’s passion is building teams and providing the support required for people to deliver on their potential. He does this by supporting each country head, along with blue chip global clients, ensuring success in whatever venture he is involved in.

 

Selena King - Insight Director

Selena is a highly experienced qualitative research Director who is focused on bringing her clients fresh insights to inspire innovative strategic thinking.

Selena has over 10 years experience in market research and proven experience in a broad range of market sectors including media, technology, fashion, FMCG and social research, and has worked with most of the top advertising and media agencies in the world. She is an expert in ethnographic methodologies and is passionate about using bespoke, creative and innovative methodological approaches that bring the target audience to life in the boardroom.
Although her focus is qualitative research she holds an MSc in advanced quantitative methods and understands the role and value of integrated methodologies for providing holistic and insightful deliverables for her clients.

 

 

Barbara Gourley - Insight Director

Having spent the last 6 years at Cap Gemini, Barbara brings a wealth of strategic consulting experience to the business.

Barbara has over 12 years’ experience as a Strategy Consultant, the last 8 of which have been focused on the converging telecom, media and entertainment sectors.  Her experience lies in leading and delivering research and insights driven strategic and marketing initiatives for major clients worldwide.   Skilled at quantitative analysis and with an MBA from a leading business school, Barbara is adept at examining issues and analysing information to enable clients to make strategic decisions for their business. She has considerable international experience and speaks 5 European languages.

 

Andy Grout - Insight Director

With over 20 years' of research experience, Andy likes to challenge established research methodologies to find creative solutions to his clients' business objectives.

Having worked across many different categories, Andy has helped to build and nurture some of the biggest brands in the world. Andy uses quantitative and qualitative research techniques to provide the complete business perspective.

Neil Rees - Insight Director

An experienced qualitative researcher, Neil has worked across a variety of brand development programmes utilising innovative methodologies to inspire fresh thinking

Neil has over 10 years experience in market research, predominantly in the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical sector.  His background is in qualitative research, with in-depth experience across a range of therapy areas both in primary and secondary care, working with a range of customer types from KoLs, various healthcare practioners to patients.  Neil is in interested in and has utilised a range of methodologies, with a particular interest in digital tools and ethnographic approaches, to mine for unique insights that bring research to life, providing outputs to inspire key stakeholders in the brand team and beyond.

Having worked on the client side and at a comms agency, the experiences have provided Neil with a rounded understanding of how research outputs are taken to the next stage
 

Paul Donnelly - Global Fieldwork Services Director

Ensuring quality deliverables from across the globe and the best possible service for Kadence’s fieldwork clients is what Paul really enjoys.

Paul graduated with a BA (Hons) Degree in Business Studies from Middlesex University and has 15 years’ market research experience.  All of his time in the industry has been spent working in the field of global data collection. He joined Kadence in April 2002 and is now responsible for all International and UK Data Collection work, CATI and Online.
Paul enjoys the cut and thrust of working in a global data collection environment and has expertise across the Business-to-Business, Consumer and Healthcare sectors. Paul and his London based team, work with passion and diligence to co-ordinate most of Kadence’s global studies, working hand in hand with the Kadence family of offices in North America and across Asia.

 

Cedric Benoit - Fieldwork Services Director

Cedric is responsible for global data collection services and ensures each project meets client objectives, budget and is delivered on time.

Cedric joined Kadence in April 2009 and has over 10 years experience in the market research industry covering the whole range of qualitative and quantitative international and domestic fieldwork. He has an MA in diplomacy and international economy from the University of Paris Sceaux and a degree in International Business Studies from University Paris 13.
Cedric is passionate about data collection and believes direct and pro-active communication between the project team and researcher is fundamental to a successful fieldwork execution.
